Bayfront Business Expo and Job Fair
Features Stimulus Opportunities for Small Businesses
On July 16, from 12pm-5pm, the National City Bayfront Business Expo and Job Fair offers an exciting marketing, networking, and educational platform for small business to access stimulus resources. The event will be held at Marina Gateway, 740 Bay Marina Dr., National City’s newest bayfront development.
The Bayfront Expo includes exhibitor booths, a regional job fair, free food samplings throughout the facility sponsored by Buster’s Beach House, live musical entertainment, cash bar, and engaging panel presentations.
Over 400 participants are expected to attend! “The Bayfront Business Expo serves as an excellent marketing venue for businesses to showcase their products and services. The Bayfront Expo is now an even more valuable resource for the community with the addition of the Stimulus Opportunities Program.”— Jacqueline Reynoso, President/CEO.
Businesses will learn firsthand insight from state and federal government buyers, and corporate representatives. County Treasurer Dan Mc-Allister, County Supervisor Greg Cox, Mayor Ron Mor-rison, SBA District Director Dr. Ruben Garcia, and Knight & Carver Yacht Center are among the distinguished panelist participating in the program. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
“Knowledge about stimulus programs is another tool for small business owners as they take on the difficulties of operating in this economy. For this reason, the Chamber and the SBDITC are offering helpful business survival tips, consulting, and presentations on sales, cost, and financial strategies.”– Victor Castillo, Southwestern College SBDC Director.
This National City Chamber of Commerce event is made possible through a partnership with the City of National City, Port of San Diego, San Diego Workforce Partnership, Small Business Development and International Trade Center (SBDITC), Sycuan Tribal Development Corporation, MRW Group, Inc., Best Western Marina Gateway and Buster’s Beach House Restaurant.
