The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the New Vallarta’s Supermarket in National City took place this week with thousands lining up to take advantage of the opening day excitement and deals. Of course no grand opening is not complete without a bevy of officials and politicans.

   Taking part in the celebration was Mayor Ron Morrision along with the city council. Representing the Vallarta Supermarket were Miguel Gonzalez, CEO, Adolfo Molina, VP of Finance, James Lodenquai, HR Director, and Frank Bermudez, store director, and the countless other team members that worked hard to open their doors. Special recognition went out to Councilmember Luis Natividad who dedicating hundreds of hours in reviewing applications and advocating for qualified National City residents to be given the opportunity to work for Vallarta’s.

   Vallarta Supermarket hired 240 employees, of which 80% are National City residents.
