CELEBRATE WORLD PEACE DAY AT THE LEMON GROVE LIBRARY

WHO: Soka Gakkai International, San Diego County Library, and the City of Lemon Grove

WHAT: The Lemon Grove Library is celebrating World Peace Day on March 16th with a ribbon cutting ceremony to honor Soka Gakkai’s International-USA Exhibition: Artist as Peacemakers.  The exhibit will be on display at the library from March 1 through March 19.  The event will also include: kite making workshop courtesy of One Sky One World International Kite Fly for Peace; performance by the Ikeda Youth Ensemble; World Peace Day proclamation presented by Jerry Jones, Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Lemon Grove; and remarks by Library Director José Aponte.  More information on the Artists as Peacemakers exhibit can be located at http://www.sgi-usa.org/newsandevents/exhibitions/artistaspeace.php.
