This year, the “Family Health Center of San Diego” was selected to help us contribute our donations to families in need for the Holidays. Baskets of turkeys and groceries that go with the meal were given to six families this year for their Thanksgiving dinners.

We were also pleased to contribute to the “Adopt A Family” program through the Family Health Center of San Diego once again. Our Auxiliary Ladies purchased and wraped gifts and delivered them to the Family Health Center of San Diego.

Youth Activity Marcella Smith holds a Children’s Christmas Party for the Neighborhood Kids in the Barrio and has a great turn out every year with the Support from our Post and Auxiliary. Mercy Gastelum, Community Chairman stays pretty business this time of the year as well as Josephine (JoJo) Trujillo also known as “Florence Nightingale” attending to many sick and destress at the VA Hospital. We would like to say, “That we are here to service and help our Community as well as our Troops.’
