Jumex, the worldwide leader in the nectar category, was proud to announce today the beginning of what proves to be a long and beneficial relationship with the YMCA in helping build strong kids, strong families and strong communities through programs that develop spirit, mind and body.

Jumex’s long history supporting our communities extends back decades to Mexico, where Jumex has donated time and resources to philanthropic endeavors to the betterment of community. This is one way of giving back a little of what consumers have given Jumex for over 40 years.

The YMCA encourages individual health by making their programs and services accessible to all, no matter the income level. Through programs and facilities members experience building self-esteem, improving health and wellness, learning leadership skills, making new friends, strengthening family bonds, building community connections, promoting volunteer-ism and providing social outlets.

“We are happy to partner with the YMCA for their unrelenting drive to provide programs, activities and relationships which are guided by the core values of: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.” said Patrick Harrington, Brand Manager for Jumex in the United States.  “This year, our monetary donation, product and promotional materials will give the YMCA in Chicago, San Diego, East Los Angeles and Phoenix much needed help in providing the tools to continue helping underserved, underprivileged communities through youth wellness and healthy eating programs.”

Jumex’s support of the YMCA is part of a year-long promotional marketing effort called “Mi Jumex Me Lleva Mas Lejos…” (My Jumex Takes Me Further…), a three-tiered plan that includes community outreach, promotions, event marketing and in-store rewards.
