SD Center for International Trade Development to Hold Global Trade Seminar

What: San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has confirmed his attendance at the San Diego Center for International Trade Development’s global trade seminar. The Ports of San Diego and Los Angeles are partnering with the center to feature information on regional and global trade opportunities for manufacturers and suppliers in Southern California and Baja California.

The seminar, which has dozens of sponsors, will provide resources for businesses looking to develop or expand export markets; programs for financing and insuring overseas sales; and manufacturing and supplier opportunities on both sides of the border.

The San Diego Center for International Trade Development, which is part of a statewide network, is housed at Southwestern College.

When: Thursday, Feb. 21, 1 – 5 p.m. Cost: $25
