tezzy Hijole! Los Chargers continue to disappoint. The team doesn’t look good, the whole team looks a step slow. Este Indio still on the bandwagon but the team has to turn it around muy pronto.

 Herman Baca of the CCR shows once again what a person can do by raising your voice. City of National City charging a tax on top of a tax by charging rental owners a fee for inspections. Mucho wrong with this, rental owners already pay a tax, and the extra $10.50 per, a cool $105,000, unit just another tax. Then there is the issue of probable cause to go into someone’s home, and if you are going to inspect a rental, why not inspect all the homes in the city? Then there is the fact that there is only one full-time employee to carry out these inspections… no way he can inspect all the rentals in one year. City had to rescind the tax, now comes the issue of the refund…

 El editor de La Prensa SD will be speaking before the Congressional Black Caucus next month when they come to town for a pow wow at an event hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Institute, 21st Century Council. El jefe will be talking with congressmen about the border…

 Money talks, everything else walks… historical homes on 2nd Ave in ChulaVista lose out to developer Kevin O’Neill who gets to build his condominiums amongst the elegant craftsman homes on that block… wonder if this would have occurred in any other community such as Rancho Santa Fe…. So much for preserving community integrity….
