Led by veteran newsman, Jorge Gestoso, this in-depth program, premiering on September 17 at 10:00pm (ET), goes behind the headlines to address the origins of the law and explore the uproar generated by the passage of Arizona’s law SB 1070 which has reignited and further polarized the debate about immigration laws in the United States.

Jorge Gestoso Investiga: LEY SB 1070 ¿QUÉ HAY DETRÁS? features in-depth interviews with politicians and news and policy makers on both side of the issue. Beyond politics, the special also explores firsthand with Latino immigrants, employers and local law enforcement affected directly by this measure and witnesses its immediate impact all around the state and in the country as a whole.

Jorge Gestoso Investiga: Ley SB 1070 ¿QUÉ HAY DETRÁS? will broadcast simultaneously on TV, online at vmetv.com, on Facebook and on mobile phones on September 17 at 10:00pm (ET). There will be live conversation during the broadcast on the Jorge Gestoso Investiga Facebook Page and Twitter through @vmejgi and #contigoarizona.
