Gracias al Amor, Thanks for the Love

    At the conclusion of Marcha Migrante VI Enrique Morones (pictured above center) and the Border Angels spent Valentines Day/Día del Amor at Parque de Playas/Parque de la Amistad to share their theme for this year’s our 125 mile, five day journey, a (Trail of Tears, Human/Civil Rights for all) celebrating that “Love has no Borders/Amor no Tiene Fronteras.”

   Morones described the events of the day: We placed flowers and crosses on the fence, then threw roses into Ocean (which drifted North and South freely) and spent the day with high school students from Pasadena, with a lunch at Friendship Park. Photos are courtesy of E Jaramillo.
