Daniel Peña’s story:

Border Line: This is a common sight to see when you are waiting in a car to cross back to the US. I find this photograph to be very interesting.

I am a local Photographer / Filmmaker from Chula Vista, 21 years old, and currently attending San Diego City College and I took this set of photographs in Tijuana for my class last semester. I have a passion for visual arts, travel, culture, music, and helping people which has inspired me to create my work in Photography and Film.

I have shot music videos for local bands, helped friends with humanitarian videos in Mexico, and have also shot live visuals to play in the background when bands perform live. I have taken photographs from cities all around the world such as Hanna, Barcelona, Florence, Paris, and Tijuana.

At this point I am trying to get my work to be seen and am learning as much as I can about photography and film. I would like to someday be able to travel and create work that is creative and makes many people aware or global issues.

Skeleton: This photo was taken in Tijuana, I was on my way to walk across to the US side of the border and I noticed this photo opportunity.
