The mural is called “Sisters of Mercy.”

The building used to be a hospital, and was built around the turn of the last century.

It has a very warm feeling inside. I tried to replicate that feeling outside, the characters are happy and healing. If you stand and look at them they will make you smile. The sisters will take your pain away. The nun’s are symbolic of healing.

My art is color therapy appealing to the heart, mind, and soul. I’ve lived in San Diego all my life. My paintings reflect life in our border city.
